Can't speak to rokform or JBL specifically, but my husband absolutely LOVES this thing and uses it every time he is out on the golf course. All of his buddies have asked him where they can get one. In my opinion, the sound fantastic! None of that 'tinny'noise or muffling that often occurs with the other speakers we have tried.
